Department of Agricultural Innovation for Sustainability

Exchange education programs scheduled for September-December This Program will enable Bachelor Degree students to study in either Japanese Universities 3 universities in four fields:. The Faculty of Agriculture of TUAT strives to nurture talents with skills and practical capabilities to help address global challenges in the fields of agriculture, life science, environmental science and veterinary medicine. This AIMS course is to provide education on advanced agricultural science and engineering concerning sustainable food productions, natural resources management, and environmentally harmonized technology.

Japan: Smart Green Homes on the Horizon

During the 15 weeks, students will cover agribusiness, farm environment management, food safety and processing technique for a sustainable food production, to include advanced technology aiming for stable and long term supply of food to support economic growth and population increase. The Faculty of Engineering consisting of eight departments to provide for a background on the innovative engineering to balance value creation with consideration to the environment, to create sustainable value through specialization and acquisition of technology aiming to solve challenges concerning the environment and energy resource.

This AIMS course also provides opportunity for collaborations between ASEAN international students and Japanese students in experiments and laboratory works to cultivate network that will transcends our national border.

TOMODACHI Food Innovation for Regional Sustainability in Tohoku (FIRST) Program

The study of environmentally adaptive technologies to realize a safe regional planning and sustainable agriculture in developing wide vision which connects global and local challenges from the view point of sustainability. Promote technologies for sustainable use of natural and urban environmental assets for tourism purposes, based on the theory and practice of tourism.
